Cheerful Cottage

This project is one of my most recent. It’s been a total transformation. This adorable two-bedroom, one bath cottage home is quickly becoming a favorite project. The house was built in the 1940’s and its owner is giving it much needed TLC. At first, I was called in to help with organization. Sometimes, rooms need to be cleared and functional systems created before the interior design process can begin. That’s just what happened. Once the rooms were given a clear purpose, beyond just storage, interior designing could take place. This home has come alive with a uniform color backdrop on the walls and then the introduction of bright fun accent colors and furnishings. The redesigned rooms, including a new kitchen, function beautifully. It’s a happy house that’s ready for cozy living and entertaining.
